Manage Exercise Type

Do not confuse “Type” with “Equipment”. Equipment is tied to a modality; I.E. barbell, resistance band, rower, etc.  It is recommended that Type be utilized to identify the primal movement pattern associated with the exercise in question. The 7 primal movement patterns from which to choose are;

  1. Upper body push
  2. Upper body pull
  3. Gait (walking, jogging, running)
  4. Twist or rotation
  5. Bend
  6. Lunge
  7. Squat
